Beautiful stories! Thank you so much for sharing them!
My favorite sister in law is a convert. It's becoming more difficult to convert it seems. Gerim should be embraced by our communities, not ignored or shunned. Orthodox communities often view gerim as not truly Jewish and some Reform communities view them as "holier than thou" Jews. Instead of trying to find whats wrong with the convert, embrace them and welcome them to your Shabbat table! |
